The People Are Speaking

This book was so much fun to read. It goes back and forth from reality to fantasy with laugh out loud hilarity throughout. I highly recommend it

All of us can use a bit of an escape from reality now, and this book is a great way to enter the mind of a man obsessed with getting his neighbors to cut their lawn up in suburban New York. Good characters, plenty of laugh out loud moments, and an imaginative story that takes you on a short but fun journey.

This is a cute tale of a neighbor doing his duty to get the grass cut but what happens is time travel. It’s almost addicting because the main character keeps going back for more.

Obviously, the author has first hand knowledge of the location bc there is a ring of authencity to the story. I can’t recommend this “novella” enough. If you read for pleasure, to be drawn into a story, to suspend your disbelief then this story is for you. I hope this book spawns a series. I look forward to the next one.

I totally related to this book.  These were some of the same stoned thoughts I have when walking around.  Read it with a nice hybrid.
